The Law for "PRTR and Promotion of Chemical Management" was enacted in 1999. This law requires businesses to report chemical substances of concern under the PRTR (Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers) System and to provide information on them under the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) System.
